Brody Jenner: Difference Between Caitlyn And Bruce Is 'Incredible'

Brody Jenner says the difference between Bruce Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner is “incredible.”
Brody was on Tuesday’s “Today Show” to promote his new E! series “Sex With Brody,” but spent a significant chunk of the interview talking about Caitlyn’s transition. “Growing up, I really didn’t have the greatest relationship with Bruce. I didn’t see him that often. Caitlyn is just a much freer person,” he said.
Brody went on, “It’s incredible to see the difference between Caitlyn and Bruce. Bruce and I just kind of really didn’t get along to be honest. And Caitlyn, it’s literally like getting to know somebody, your dad, all over again, but in a better way.”
Brody particularly likes to see “Caitlyn be so open and speak about things Bruce would never speak about. Bruce had so many secrets, and so many things that were building up.” In fact, Caitlyn’s coming out has shed some light on his childhood. “There were just a lot moments Bruce wasn’t around and I didn’t know why. And Bruce was harboring some secrets and some things none of us knew about,” said Brody, who first found out about Caitlyn’s gender identity issues three years ago.
Interviewer Hoda Kotb also put Brody on the spot about stepsister Kourtney Kardashian’s breakup with Scott Disick. While he very clearly didn’t feel that comfortable commenting, Brody ultimately said, “Scott and Kourtney both are great. Obviously Scott’s gone through some issues in the past. He’s worked them. Honestly, when I saw those pictures, I just went ‘uh-oh.’ I even showed my girlfriend and went, ‘This isn’t good.'”
“It’s unfortunate,” he added.
