I Hope To Settle My ‘Popori’ Tussle With Cynthia Morgan— Says Queen Ure

news

Female singer, Queen Ure, has given hints that she might soon end her legal tussle with fast-rising colleague, Cynthia Morgan of Northside Music Inc over a song title.
Ure and Cynthia have been fighting over the name ‘Popori’, which the former claimed is her copyright. However, Cynthia named her own song title ‘Porpori’, which is different from Ure’s.
When Ure first hit at Cynthia, the latter did not spare words in lambasting the former, questioning her authority over the word, which Cynthia said is commonly used by people from the South-South.
When cornered recently at an event by HipTV, Ure said, “Personally, from the onset of my music career, I have been building the ‘Popori’ brand that is why at the moment I have two albums ‘Popori 1 &2’, I have got a DVD of about 7videos and it is ‘Popori’ DVD.
“I have my hair style a typical woman hair that is called ‘Popori’ curls or waves. The industry in evolving, things like this will come up we will try and handle it maturely. I am sure after a while, everybody will be cool.”
